The CSIO5* combinations competed their 1.45m warm-up in two phases this morning. In the end it was France's Julien Epaillard who topped the class aboard his 10-year-old son of Diamant de Semilly, Carbone du Cyan. The pair was over one second faster as USA's Brian Moggre with I'M Special V (I'M Special de Muze).
The stage was completed by Felipe Amaral and his 8-year-old Clarimo-son, Carbas.
On home soil, Niels Bruynseels followed in a fourth spot. Bruynseels placed with Nogana van het Peggershof (Ogano Sitte) while Antonio Alfonso completed the top five with his Harrie (Harmony).
