Twelve combinations qualified for the Jump-Off in the 1.55m CSI4* Grand Prix of Sentower Park. Last week it was France's Julien Epaillard who conquered the CSI3* Grand Prix in Opglabbeek. Today Epaillard went on repeat, jumping to victory in the CSI4* Grand Prix aboard his sBs-gelding Gracieux du Pachis.
The 25.000 euro first prize was set on name of Epaillard and his 10-year-old son of Tinka's Boy, Gracieux du Pachis. Only the top three combinations managed to produce a double clear. On stage Spain's Manuel Fernandez Saro followed with his 11-year-old Jarlin de Torres (Jarnac), while Sweden's Angelie Von Essen completed the top three aboard Happiness Dk Z (Hooch DK).
The pair was followed by the number one U25-rider of the world, Harry Charles. The British showjumping rider guided his 12-year-old daughter of Chacco-Blue, Stardust, to the fourth place. Oliver Lazarus completed the top five with Butterfly Ennemmel (Quaprice Bois Margot).
