In Waregem a CSI5* show is still going strong. This morning a 1m45 class was ridden directly against the clock. The victory went to Kara Chad. She rode Viva (f. Now Or Never) to the victory with a time of 59,78 seconds. She was the only rider who managed to keep the chrono under 60 seconds.
The second place went to Lauren Hough. She jumped a clear round in the saddle of Paloma (f. Canaletto S) and finished in 62,45 seconds. The young Belgian rider Thibeau Spits ended on third place. Spits is only competing at 5* level for the first time in Waregem. He rode Classic Touch DH (f. Casall) to the finish line in 64,31 seconds. Kevin Jochems and Kyamant Van'T Spieveld (f. Diamant de Semilly) took account of the fourth place. Frédéric Vernaet and Born To Win Ap Z (f. Bentley vd Heffinck) completed the top five.
