In Vejer de la Frontera at the Sunshine Tour, the main class of the day came to a thrilling close. In this CSI4* Big Tour the riders were challenged with a 1.50m course in two phases. With around fourteen clear rounds it really came down to finishing with the fastest time possible.
In this Big Tour, victory went to Kevin Gonzalez De Zarate Fernandez and Conthargos Rouge (by Conthargos) who set the winning time of 33.74 seconds in front of his own audience. Eduardo Alvarez Aznar was close behind him, but was just not fast enough in the end. Riding Full Option van't Zand (by Flamingo K), Eduardo ended second in 34.71 seconds. Emeric George and Calisco de Terlong (by Mylord Carthago) completed the top three with a time of 35.35 seconds.
Bernardo Cardoso De Resende Alves (Mosito van het Hellehof) and Douglas Lindelöw (Casemiro CC) ended in fourth and fifth place.
