Koen Vereecke wins 1.45m small Grand Prix in Deauville

In Deauville it was waiting for the 1.45m CSI3* Small Grand Prix. A total of 14 combinations qualified for the Jump-Off. Eventually it was Belgium's Koen Vereecke speeding to victory.

Vereecke was the fourth to start this Jump-Off with the 11-year-old Kasanova de la Pomme (Bamako de Muze). The pair stopped the timer in 37.48 seconds, setting the unbeatable time.

As runner-up, France's Hugo Breul followed with his 13-year-old Utahmano Alu (Mylord Carthago¨HN). The pair was over one second slower as Vereecke. Alexis Deroubaix completed the stage aboard Aldo du Plessis (Orient Express).

Outside the stage Duarte Romao placed fourth with Cooper Z (Cornet Obolensky), while David Simpson and Carleyle (Connor 48) ended fifth.
