Laura Mantel and Muna vd Bisschop take the win in World Championship consolation for 7-year old horses

In Zangersheide the consolation for the 7-year old horses has just been ridden at the World Championships in Lanaken. 94 combinations entered the show ground for this class that was ridden against the clock. In the end it was the British lady rider Laura Mantel who was the fastest. 

Mantel rode the BWP-mare Muna vd Bisschop (f. Cornet Obolenksy) to the finish line in 61,72 seconds, leaving the wood untouched. With this time they were over a second faster than the Irish lady rider Kate Derwin who ended on second place with MHS Fernhille Showtome (f. Cavalier Royale). This ISH gelding didn't touch the wood and finished in 62,98 seconds. 

Olivier Philippaerts followed on third place. He saddled the Ugano Sitte mare Miss Marple. This BWP mare jumped a clear round and finished in 63,38 seconds. Denis Lynch and Cornets Ibero (f. Cornet Obolenksy) ended on fourth place. Philippaerts and Khan vd Kattevennen Z (f. Kannan) follow on fifth place.
