While everybody is getting ready for the Global Champions League that will be ridden later today at the Global Champions Tour in London, a 1m45 speed class was scheduled for the CSI2* riders this morning. 48 riders entered the show ring for this class.
In the end it was the British lady rider Lilly Attwood who took home the victory. She jumped a clear round in 54,22 seconds with her 9-year old gelding Karibou Horta. With this tome she was over two seconds faster than Flo Norris who ended on second place with Donatella l'Espor (f. Quasimodo Z). They left the wood untouched and crossed the finish line after 56,55 seconds. The third place on the podium went to a British rider as well: Tim Gredley rode the 11-year old Zangersheide mare Ninkie de Vy Z (f. Nonstop) to the finish line without touching a fence.
Jay Halim and Aragon Z ended on fourth place. They cleared the course in 57,31 seconds. Maysam Bisharat and Jolie Fleur II T (v. Vagabond De La Pomme) ended on fifth place.
