Lisa Wilcox back in the international competition ring after four years

Olympic rider and former number two in the FEI World Rankings, Lisa Wilcox, will make her international return this weekend at the Global Dressage Festival in Wellington. The American rider did not ride an international Grand Prix for four years.

Wilcox will start with 19-year-old Valando BJ (by Jazz). The duo already rode two national Grand Prix last fall and scored above 74% each time here. "Valando has exceeded our expectations at the national competitions, so his owner has suggested that we start him internationally," Wlicox told Dressage News.
