Luciana Diniz: "My son is turning 18 in December so winning a Land Rover Would be nice"

Yesterday, Luciana Diniz won the main class of yesterday evening in Waregem (and Grand Prix qualifier). She rode Fit For Fun 13 (f. For Pleasure) to the victory with the only double clear round.

What did you think about the course yesterday?

The time probably was the biggest challenge. The time was very short so I seemed like you were already riding a jump-off in the initial round.

Did you know you made a chance to win?

Fit For Fun felt great. The last time I rode her was in Amsterdam and she won a class there as well. So I know she was in good shape and she could have a chance to win.

You were the only rider to produce a double clear round. Was this a deliberate decision?

Yes, I watched the TV in the paddock and I knew that if I jumped a clear round, I would take the win. So I decided to try and jump that clear round by not taking too many risks.

Are you gonna win the Grand Prix (and the Land Rover)?

It would be nice to win the Grand Prix because my son is turning 18 in December and he really likes the brand so that would be great (laughs). It won't be easy because it's a long, though course so I'll have to concentrate from beginning to end.
