Lummen 2021 edition postponed to September

"We had all been looking forward to our new edition very much but unfortunately EHV-1 decided otherwise... After much deliberation, the CSI Lummen organization decided to move the Spring Tour from May to a date later this year", starts the press release of the international jumping of Lummen.

"We are very pleased that so many riders were ready to participate in our competition. We noticed that there was a lot of interest from both Belgian and foreign riders. We did not take any chances and decided to cancel the show in May. The most important thing is that we can fulfill all expectations and that the health of our horses comes first", the organization says.

They end on a positive note: "As far as we are concerned, however, postponement is not a cancellation. We plan to come back in September with an Autumn Tour, the exact dates will be announced as soon as possible. We hope that Jumping Lummen can then take place in a more 'normal' way as the beautiful competition that everyone likes to go to. We hope to make it a pleasant, social event again in September", is the conclusion.
