In Herzlake, the day just ended with the Grand Prix of the CSI2* competition. The participants were presented with a difficult basic round: only four combinations were able to keep the zero and came back for the jump-off. In that jump-off Mario Stevens secured a German victory. He rode Starissa (by Stakkato Gold, f. Sprehe) clear to the finish in 36.69 seconds.
Gerrit Nieberg followed in second place with Ben 431 (by Sylvain, f. Snoek); they had a clear round in 38.28 seconds. Marco Kutscher and Lacasino (by Lordanos, f. Caraman Stable) set a very fast time but had one fault. This gave them still third place.
Renee Ulvsbjerg (Celeste Balslev) and Johannes Ehning (Captain keep Cool R) completed the top five.
