Following three weeks of world-class competition for riders of all levels and ages, the Old Salem Farm September Horse Shows concluded Sunday with a field of 46 entries in the $10,000 Old Salem Farm Jumper Classic. Riding to the day’s final victory were Colombia’s Mark Bluman and Jonathan VDL, a speedy 8-year-old Dutch Warmblood gelding owned by Olivia Welsh.
Bluman took top honors against many of his fellow international competitors throughout the week, including the Classic’s second-place finisher Jonathan Corrigan (IRL) aboard Twin Oaks Ventures LLC’s Darius De Kerglenn. Egypt’s Nayel Nassar claimed third with Evergate Stables LLC’s Dorado De Riverland. |
