Mathieu Billot secures Home win in St Tropez 1.50m Ranking Class

On home soil it was France's Mathieu Billot jumping to victory in the CSI4* Longines Ranking Class in St Tropez. Aboard Quel Filou 13 (Quidam's Rubin), Billot speeded to a close call victory, leaving European Champion, Martin Fuchs behind.

Aboard the Grey gelding, Quel Filou 13 (Quidam's Rubin), Billot crossed the finish in 36.50 seconds and was followed by Martin Fuchs speeded to the runner-up position in the saddle of the Stakkatol-son, Stalando 2.

The stage was completed by Nicolas Delmotte and the 11-year-old Urvoso du Roch (Nervose). The combination was followed by Max Thirouin who guided his Belgian Warmblood-gelding, Jewel de Kwakenbeek (Cicero Z) to the fourth place. Luis Sabino Gonçalves completed the top five with the 10-year-old sBs-mare, Domika van de Lucashoeve (Cardento 933).
