Matthew Sampson and Geneve R speed to victory in 1.50m Grand Prix at Autumn MET III 2021

In this seemingly difficult 1.50m Grand Prix class in the Spanish Oliva, the course appeared to be very challenging as only seven out of 60 riders managed to qualify for the jump-off. Out of those riders only four combinations were able to ride a clear round in the jump-off. British rider Matthew Sampson wasn't only double clear but also the fastest of them all! With his ten-year-old gelding Geneve R (by Eldorado Vd Zeshoek) he took home the gold medal in this GP.

Brazilian rider Thiago Ribas Da Costa took second place. With the chestnut mare Kassandra Van 'T Heike (by Epleaser Van 'T Heike) he crossed the finish line 40,05 seconds. Denmark could count on Soren Pedersen for a top three place in this Grand Prix. Pedersen and Chico Z (by Clinton 1) managed to ride a double clear in 41,08 seconds.

Daniel Meech (Hi-5) scored a fourth place. Mathieu Noirot (Vista du Grasset) claimed fifth place.
