McLain Ward leaves all competition behind in opening class Wellington

The main class that was scheduled in Wellington yesterday, was a 1m45 class of the CSI4* competition. McLain Ward rode Catoki (f. Catoki) to the victory by riding a clear round in 29,67 seconds. With this time, he left Kent Farrington behind. Farrington rode Australia 2 (f. Casall) clear to the finish in 29,73 seconds. 

Darragh Kenny ended on third place with Belo Horizonte (f. Baloubet du Rouet). This combination left the wood untouched and finished in 29,99 seconds. Kristen Vanderveen (Bull Run's Faustino de Tili) and Santiago Lambre (Centano van Aspergem Z) completed the top five.
