McLain Ward welcomes new stallion to his string of horses

McLain Ward started a new ride in Wellington yesterday: the BWP stallion Kasper van't Hellehof (by Emerald). The 11-year-old stallion started yesterday under the American flag. Ward takes over the reins from Ben Maher, who until now was active with the stallion at the highest level.

Maher last started the stallion at international level in November, when they participated in Wellington's CSI4* competition. The duo then finished thirteenth in the Grand Prix.
