Michael Pender leaves all competition behind in CSI3* Vilamoura

The first class that was jumped in Vilamoura today, was immediately todays main number. 130 competitors entered the show ground for this class that was ridden against the clock. 

The victory went to the Irish rider Michael Pender. He counted on Hhs Fast Forward (f; Fortunus) to clear the course in 30,47 seconds. With this, he stayed ahead of Pius Schwizer who ended on second place. Schwizer jumped a clear round in the saddle of Balou Rubin R (f. Baloubet du Rouet) and finished in 30,68 seconds. Olivier Robert and Vangog du Mas Garnier (f. Cornet Obolenksy) completed the podium. The French rider left the wood untouched and finished in 30,83 seconds. 

Jack Ryan (Essenar Highh Hopes) and Lily Attwood (Karibou Horta) followed on fourth and fifth place.
