On Friday the 1.50m ATCO Cup delivered exciting sport at Spruce Meadows. In the end it was Nayel Nassar who guided his 9-year-old ESI Ali (Stakkato Gold) to the win. "To win such a class, here at Spruce, the day before the Grand Prix? That definitely gives me a confidence boost," Nassar reacts.
"The competition was strong, I had to do my best to be able to win here," Nassar concludes. On stage Ireland's Conor Swail followed aboard My Lady Lavista (Mylord Carthago*HN), whiel Manuel Gonzalez Dufrane completed the stage aboard his 12-year-old Martialis (Nabab de Rêve).
The combination was followed by Charlie Jones and Capitale 6 (San Patrignano Cassini), while James Arkins and his KWPN-gelding, Javaro N (H5 Elvaro) completed the top five.
