New Grand Prix horse for Cian O'Connor

Ireland's Trevor Breen has announced the sale of his Grand Prix-horseHighland President (Clinton x Kannan, breeder: Heather Black). The 11-year-old gelding moves to the stables of Cian O'Connor.

Together with the gelding, Breen was a part of the Silver Medal team at the latest FEI European championships in Milan. They also placed fourth in the 1.60m LGCT Grand Prix in Riesenbeck and 5th in the Grand Prix's of La Coruna and Dublin.

“It has been a privilege for us to breed and produce Archie. He’s such an intelligent horse and always willing to learn and fights like a lion in the ring. Both myself and Caroline were the main people to ride him at home his whole life and I was the only one who ever competed him, to produce him to this top level is something we are so proud of"

"Huge thanks to Caroline’s parents Ian and Heather Black for trusting us and keeping him this long with us at Breen Sport Horses. We went on a fantastic journey together up through the ranks culminating with numerous top 5 placings in CSI5* Grand Prixs and a Team Silver medal at the European championships. We can’t wait to see Archie’s next chapter unfold under his new rider Cian O’Connor and wish them all the success in the future.” writes Breen.
