Only five combinations qualified for the jump-off of the 1.55m CSI4* Grand Prix in Vejer de la Frontera. Riding Eric Levallois' 13-year-old Texas (Tornesch), Pénélope Leprévost ultimately secured the victory.
France's Leprévost was only two hundredths of a second faster than Philipp Weishaupt (GER) and his own Coby (Contagio). Reigning Belgian champion, Gilles Thomas, completed the top three with his stallion, Ermitage Kalone (Catoki).
Gilles Thomas and his 10-year-old Belgian Championship horse thereby pushed Dutch Mel Thijssen with the 11-year-old KWPN gelding, Imodo (Quasimodo Z), into fourth place. These four pairs managed to deliver a double clear round. In fifth place was Adam Grzegorzewski (POL) with Issem (Quality Time TN).
