Philippe Weishaupt and Coby on point in 1.55m Longines Grand Prix of Coruna

Only nine combinations managed to qualify for the Jump-Off in the 1.55m Longines Grand Prix in Coruna. After an exciting Jump-Off it was Germany's Philipp Weishaupt speeding to victory!

It was a hard battle in this Grand Prix class. For a long time the winning pair of the day before, Harry Charles and Billabong du Roumois were in the lead. However Germany's Philipp Weishaupt managed to beat the time.

Aboard his 12-year-old Coby (Contagio) the German jumping rider bested Harry Charles' time with over a second. Eventually nobody managed to finish quicker as Weishaupt. The top three was completed by Ireland's Jack Ryan and Pieter Clemens his former 11-year-old KWPN-gelding, Guppie VDL (Arezzo VDL).

The pair was followed by Sweden's Petronella Andersson and the 10-year-old SF-gelding, Claptonn Mouche (Conrad). Jack Whitaker completed the top five with his 13-year-old Valmy de la Lande (Mylord Carthago).
