The fifteen-year-old chestnut gelding Quiet Easy (Rory) back at Bertram Allen's Ballywalter Farms stables in Hunxe.
"Rory" has been one of Bertram's most successful horses from earlier years achieving many wins together; a speedy duo renowned for rarely returning from a show without winning.
In 2017 Bertram and "Rory" won the 5* 1m55 Audi Prize at 's-Hertogenbosch, followed by the 5* 1.45m win in GCT Mexico City, before the sale of the gelding from Quainton Stud to the Norwegian Gjelsten family in May 2017. After two years abroad the gelding is now back to Ballywalter Farms to be reunited with Bertram Allen.
"I am really happy for the opportunity given to us by the Gjelsten family. Rory was one of my top horses in 2015 and 2017, so it feels nice having my good old friend back at the stables! Hopefully, we can create some new memories along the way, " Bertram says.
Quiet Easy was produced slowly by Jessica Botham who took him from a five-year-old to his first Grand Prix. Later the gelding was shown by Ben Maher (GBR), Chloe Aston (GBR) and Angelica Augustsson(SWE) before Bertram took over the ride in 2015.
