Germany's showjumping rider, Rene Dittmer is currently competing in North-America, collecting major points for the World Cup standings. After his placing in Toronto's World Cup last weekend, Dittmer takes over the lead in the Worldcup ranking, pushing Richard Howley to the runner-up position.
In Verona, Olympic Champion, Ben Maher jumped to the World Cup victory. With four legs competed it is however Rene Dittmer on top of the ranking. The Oslo and Helsinki-winner, Ireland's Richard Howley follows with a two point difference. Maher jumps from the 12th to the 3rd spot.
Earlier Maher jumped in the ranks in Lyon and now added 20 extra points in Verona. He is followed by Switzerland's Martin Fuchs in fourth and Sweden's Peder Fredricson in fifth.
