The Irish continue to reign at the Royal Dublin Horse show. In the Youngster Finals for seven and eight year old horses it was Ireland's Rhys Williams who jumped to victory aboard the 7-year-old Playboy JT Z (Presley Boy).
Together with the Belgian bred, Playboy JT Z, Williams advanced on compatriot Denis Lynch aboard the 8-year-old Holsteiner, Dark Chocolate 48 (Casall). Also the third spot colored Irish, thanks to Jason Higgins and the Irish bred, Heritage MBF (Eldorado vd Zeshoek).
The pair was followed by Michael Roche with his MB Lorenzo R (Tolan R). Only this top four horse-rider combinations managed to produce a double clear. With a fast time, Switzerland's Martin Fuchs completed the top five.
Earlier this week Fuchs won one of the Youngster qualifiers and now settled for fifth aboard the 8-year-old Diva van het Cauterhof Z (Dieu Merci van T&L).
