Rolf-Göran Bengtsson separates from top horse, Carlyle

Sweden's top rider, Rolf-Göran Bengtsson will no longer compete aboard Oak Grove's Carlyle (Casall). The owners of the horse, Gestüt Eichenhain, have decided to entrust Harm Lahde with the eleven year old Casall-son.

For Lahde it's not a debut but a renewal of the partnership. Last April Begtsson won the World Cup Grand Prix in Gothenburg with Carlyle. "It's always sad to loose one of your best horses, but I have some nice young promising prospects following up..." states Bengtsson.
