In the 1.55m CSI4* Grand Prix a total of nine combinations qualified for the Jump-Off. Earlier Dutch, Sanne Thijssen already won the Grand Prix-qualifier aboard her Con Quidam RB. As last at the start, Thijssen and Con Quidam repeated their last year victory!
Last year, Thijssen won the CSI4* Grand Prix in Vejer de la Frontera. This time, she left no room for competition with Con Quidam RB (Quinar Z) either. Thijssen, with her 18-year-old gelding, came just under three seconds faster than Pedro Veniss and Nimrod de Muze Imperio Egipcio (Nabab de Rêve).
In third place was Leonie Böckmann with the 11-year-old Carter 10 (Christian).
Following them was Guy Williams, who stayed ahead with Ernie of Greenhill Z (Emerald) over Eiken Sato and Chadellano JRA (Chacco-Blue). Belgium's Stephanie Andries also made it to the prize ranks, guiding her own New Jursy van de Noordheuvel (Spartacus TN) to ninth place.
