Today it was world number one, Steve Guerdat who topped the CSI4* Grand Prix in Italy's Gorla Minore. Guerdat speeded to victory aboard the 13-year-od Uranie de Belcour.
In the 1.55m Grand Prix fifty horse-rider combinations took the start. Thirteen managed to produce a clear first round and move forward to the jump-off. Fastest was last week's St Tropez-winner, Steve Guerdat with the 13-year-old daughter of Flipper d'Elle, Uranie de Belcour.
On stage, Harry Alle followed on Guinness (Nabab de Reve) while Abdelkebir Ouaddar placed third with Istanbull vh Ooievaarshof (Casall).
The top five was completed by Fernando Martinez Sommer with Cor Bakker (Colandro) and Alexander Kumps with Luigi van de Kornelishoeve (Carabas vd Wateringhoeve) in fourth and fifth.
