This afternoon it turned out to be an exciting class in the 1.50m main competition in Riesenbeck. Eventually future father, Steve Guerdat speeded to victory with almost three seconds advantage. Guerdat claimed victory aboard his 12-year-old Uranie De Belcour (Flipper D'Elle). The pair was followed by Felix Hassmann.
The German show jumping rider followed as runner-up aboard Cayenne WZ (Claudio) while Belgium's Olivier Philippaerts placed third aboard H&M Legend of Love (Landzauber).
Outside the top three, Sweden's Henrik von Eckermann paced fourth with his Fiancé's horse, King Edward (Edward). Together with the Belgian Warmblood gelding out of Wim Impens' breeding, von Eckermann was followed by Thibeau Spits aboard Classic Touch DH (Casall).
