Swiss dressage team for Europeans announced


The Swiss Equestrian Federation is the first to announce its team for the 2021 European Dressage Championships, which will be held from 6 - 12 September 2021 at Hof Kasselmann in Hagen, Germany. While Estelle Wettstein represented Switzerland in the individual competition at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics, the other Swiss A-riders met one last time at the CDI Herzlake to fight for a place on the team. 

The riders who will represent Switzerland are: 

- Elena Fernandez - Sueno II, owned by Aki Ellenberger

- Antonella Joannou - Dandy de la Roche CMF CH, owned by Antonella Joannou

- Estelle Wettstein - West Side Story OLD, owned by Marie-Line Wettstein (reserve horse Quaterboy)

- Birgit Wientzek Pläge - Hot Secret, owned by Edwin Nussbaumer
