In Opglabbeek there was no holding back Germany's Tim Rieskamp-Goedeking. In the 1.50m CSI4* Longines Ranking, the German show jumping rider referred Harrie Smolders to the runner-up position.
Tim Rieskamp-Goedeking was the only one to finish faultless in less than 60 seconds. Alongside the 12-year-old Pepina G (breeder: Lutz Goessing), the German show jumper thus pushed Harrie Smolders with his 11-year-old SF mare, Deesse de Kerglenn (Mylord Carthago*HN, breeder: Alain Richard), into second place.
Smolders and his own mare were just under a second faster than Zascha Nygaard Lill with Primavera (Mylord Carthago, breeder: Gestüt Elstertal) under the saddle. The top five were dominated by the French, with Julien Anquetin and Gravity of Greenhill (Nabab de Rêve) in fourth and Titouan Schumacher with Illusion (Balou du Rouet) in fifth.
In the top ten, Willem Greve also secured a prize. Greve guided his 10-year-old BWP stallion, Minute Man (Vigo d'Arsouilles, breeder: Kim Van Laenen), faultlessly to the ninth place.
