Top of the world asks to revise the working days of grooms ... "We need to be realistic and reduce the workload"

Last week all eyes were on Belgium as the CSIO5* Knokke Hippique showed how a CSI5* competition is organized. However backstage a lot of respect but also some criticism was expressed by chef d'equipes as well as by top riders ... "For us the program is ideal," states amongst others Peter Weinberg. "We have a class in the morning, afternoon and evening. It is however for the grooms a hard job to stay motivated at shows like this. Long days and distances make it a hard job." Do we need to revise our competition schedules? Do competition organizers need to keep in mind a final closure hour?
