The first round of the Global Champions League was just jumped in Doha and the 'Valkenswaardd United' is currently in the best position. Both Peder Fredricson (Hansson WL) and Marcus Ehning (Stargold) were able to record a clear round behind their names; their combined chrono was 132.41 seconds.
The Berlin Eagles with Christian Kukuk and Philipp Weishaupt as riders, are provisionally in second place. Both Germans recorded a clear round and clocked off in a total of 133.33 seconds.
New York Empire completed the provisional podium. Both Denis Lynch (Cristello) and Scott Brash (Hello Jefferson) were able to jump a clear round.
The second round will be held on Saturday.
