Victory for Rodrigo Giesteira Almeida in Gothenburg

The last class of the day has just been ridden in Gothenburg. It was a 1m45 class that was ridden against the clock. The CSI5* riders entered the show ring to battle it out. 


The victory went to the Portuguese rider Rodrigo Giesteira Almeida. With Kafka v. Heffinck (f. Diamant de Semilly) under the saddle, he jumped a clear round in 59,11 seconds. With this he was half a second faster than Bryan Balsinger who ended on second place with Jenkins Ter Doorn (f. Numero Uno). They left the wood untouched and finished in 59,63 seconds. Michael Jung and Mill Creek Filippa K (f.For Contest) ended on third place after a clear round in 60,30 seconds. 

Pius Schwizer (Cas) and Linnea Ericsson-Carey (Lacroix) completed the top five.
