When the first one conquers it all: Demirsoy wins Longines Ranking of Beervelde

The last class of the day has just been ridden in Beervelde. The last class was a CSI3* 1m50 class with jump-off. 46 combinations entered the show ground for this class, 23 of them managed to jump a clear first round and came back for the all-deciding jump-off.

Derin Demirsoy was the first rider to enter the show ring for the jump-off and he immediately rode a time that no other rider could beat. He and Harry K went fast as lightening and finished in 39,12 seconds, leaving the wood untouched. This means he was the first rider to enter the show ring and he won it in the end. Not many riders know how to do that. The second place went to the Belgian rider Maxime Harmignies. This Belgian rider jumped a clear round with Easy Boy (f. Tangelo vd Zuuthoeve) but in the end his tome of 39,17 seconds wasn't enough to beat Demirsoy. The third place went to Kendra Claricia Brinkop. This German lady rider who is riding for the Stephex stables already won a class today. This time she saddles Kismet van de Lentakker (f. Lordanos) for jumping clear to the finish in 40,06 seconds.

Viktor Daem rode a nice round as well with the 11-year old BWP mare IC Magic Van den Bien (f. Cicero Z Van Paemel). They cleared the course in 40,20 seconds. With this he beat the Italian rider Riccardo Pisani who ended on fifth place with Cristo 28 (f. Cornado I).
