On the Instagram of The Billy Stud, Great-Britain's William Funnell has announced to be the new team trainer for the United Arab Emirates. Funnell will train the Arab riders towards the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
"We are thrilled to announce that we have welcomed the UAE Jumping team here at The Billy Stud! William has taken on the role of Team Trainer for their team on the run up the Paris 2024. An exciting new venture for William and an exciting experience for everyone on the yard to be involved in."
Funnell himself jumped up to the highest level and amongst others won the European Gold Team medal and won multiple times the Hickstead Derby.
