At the end of this year the Wellington Equestrian center will be the scene for the World Finals Nations Cup. 12 countries will compete in both Dressage and Show Jumping. Each country will be represented by young amateur and professional riders. The Belgian team for this event has decided to warm-up for this four-day event with Californian-based Team McAllister. One rider already started his warm-up training with the McAllister school of riding. The other riders will arrive December 22nd. The Belgian team will battle in the Gold League, first devision. Other countries competing in this league will be Germany, the Netherlands, Ireland, the United Kingdom and Spain. The Belgian colors will be represented by Caroline Van der Heyden, Robin Moors, Britta Vanschoenwinkel and Bram Van Hulle. Caroline Van der Heyden represented her country already on the World University Equestrian Games in Korea and Algeria. Further she is one of the top dressage riders representing her country. Together with Bram Van Hulle she is the most experienced Nations Cup rider of the team. Both Robin Moors and Britta Vanschoenwinkel have limited international experience.
