Conrad de Hus sold to Quinten Judge

The 11-year-old Holsteiner stallion, Conrad de Hus (by Con Air) has left Vice-European Champion, Gregory Wathelet's stables. USA's Quinten Judge will be Conrad's new rider. Earlier Wathelet saw his HH Copin vd Broy moving to Quinten Judge's stables. Copin and Wathelet earlier won the 2011 World Cup qualifier in Mechelen. Last year Wathelet and Conrad were a succes pair, with a top result at the European Championships in Aachen. The pair returned home with the Silver medal. Earlier they also won the LGCT Grand Prix in Chantilly and the Gold team medal at the Furusiyya Nations Cup Finals in Barcelona. The sale of Conrad is a big loss for Belgian showjumping, that loses one of it's true stars and team contributors over the last two years. "It's with a mixed feeling I separate from Conrad. I'm sad to see this top horse move away. Conrad ensured my most beautiful moments in my career. But I was always realistic and knew Conrad's owner, Xavier-Marie had the intention to sell this amazing horse," states Wathelet.
