New horse for McLain Ward

Today the Winter Equestrian Festival kicks-off in Wellington. The next 12 weeks in Florida equestrian sports will florish. At the same time many new combinations will be made. Also USA's top show jumping rider, McLain Ward can count on his new mount. McLain will debut this week with Andre Van Den Nest's breeding product, Hija van Strokapelleken (by Calido I). Until last year Hija was competed by Nayel Nassar. The in-USA-living Egyptian show jumping rider bought the 11-year-old Belgian Warmblood-mare on French soil. The mare was earlier competed up to a 1.60m level by Penelope Leprévost and Roger Yves Bost.
