Barrios’ win to wrap up Tryon Summer 4 at TIEC came following a very successful week aboard Le Vio: “[Le Vio] was perfect this week. He won three classes this week out of the three that he jumped, so that’s very impressive. He is a winner, but I never expected to win three classes in the same week!”

In the Developing Jumper Series 6 Yr Old Young Jumper 1.30m Division, David O’Brien (Lexington, KY) piloted the Spy Coast Farm entry, Nanette SCF,to champion honors for the week. Reserve champion honors were awarded to Northern Exposure, owned by Melissa Wight and ridden by Mark Bluman (Lexington, KY).
The Developing Jumper Series 7 Yr Old Young Jumper 1.30-1.35m Division congratulated Megan McDermott (South Salem, NY) and the Counter Balance LLC entry, Biscotti, on earning champion honors in the division. Aaron Vale (Williston, FL) rode the Thinks Like A Horse entry, Prescott, to reserve champion honors for the week.
Todd Minikus (Loxahatchee, FL) showed his own Juju VDM in the Nutrena® 1.40m Open Jumper Division to earn champion for the week. A tie for reserve champion honors was awarded to Virginia Bonnie (San Francisco, CA) aboard Kimberly Prince’s Corneel and also to Taylor Kain (Lexington, KY) on the Eirecon Equine Sales-owned Gipsy 1134.
Samuel Parot (Wellington, FL) rode his own I&H Boogy Woogy to earn champion in the CaptiveOne Advisors 1.20m Open Jumper Division. Aaron Vale (Williston, FL) piloted Inzell B, owned by Halcyon Hill LLC, to reserve champion honors.
The 1.10m Jumper Division saw Meredith Gallagher (Haines City, FL) and the Cali Horse Sales LLC-owned, City Walk, take champion of the division. Avery Moore (Atlanta, GA) and her own Papaver LS earned reserve champion in the division.
Gustavo Prato (Wellington, FL) rode Santiago Lambre’s Gloria to champion honors in the 1.35m Open Jumper Division. Reserve champion honors were split between Steve Schaefer (Maple Park, IL) and Wyndmont Inc’s Favoriet U as well as Geoffery Hesslink (Shelburne, VT) aboard the Double H Farm entry, HH Casey Jones.
