After winning the first roud back in May, team Helios did it again.
The team claimed the gold medal in Traverse City during the Great Lakes Equestrian Festival.
The three competing team members had just one fence down after round one, putting them in second place after the Spy Coast Spies, who's time was quicker.
The Helios team, consisting of Karl Cook (USA), Mark Bluman (COL) and Simon McCarthy (IRL) were set for a medal after both Cook and Bluman jumped clear rounds. Karl Cook had Signe Otsby's Fecybelle in the saddle, Bluman competed with Noortje van de Windheuvel.
The last teammate of the Spy Coast Spies, Jordan Coyle had an unfortunate double refusal with Picador, leaving McCarthy in a comfortable and yet stressfull position with Gotcha - all he had to do was not get eliminated.
He did exactly that, making Team Helios the winners of the second leg for the MLSJ Team Competition.
