This week the 12th and final week of the Wellington International Tour will celebrate the end of the season with a 500.000 USD Rolex Grand Prix on Saturday Night, April 1.
At the $500,000 Rolex Grand Prix CSI5* finale competition on Saturday, April 1, riders vying for the $500,000 prize include Olympian and 2022 Rolex Grand Prix Champion Ashlee Bond (ISR); US Olympic Show Jumping Team Silver Medalist and Rolex Testimonee Kent Farrington; and Olympic Team Bronze Medalist and Rolex Testimonee, Daniel Deusser of Germany, as well as members of the U.S. silver medal winning team from the Tokyo Olympic Games, Mclain Ward and Laura Kraut. Forty world-class riders from the U.S., Brazil, Belgium, Canada, Ireland, Israel, Germany, Mexico, and beyond will navigate a fast-paced and exciting course designed by Brazil’s Guilherme Jorge, the famed course builder for the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in 2016.
Wellington International is considered the largest and most recognizable equestrian sporting venue in North America, known as the ‘Winter Equestrian Capital of the World.’ It hosts the best horse and rider combinations from January through April every year at the Winter Equestrian Festival. Horses and visitors to the Winter Equestrian Festival have contributed to an increase in the GDP of Palm Beach County of $286 million, creating 3,060 jobs throughout the economy and labor earnings of $88.1 million. *
