Six of Amy Graham's horses positive for EHV-1

Amy Graham, rider at Haras du Ry, shared a press release in which she announced that 6 of her horses tested positive for EHV-1. 

Graham had been competing at the Sunshine Tour with eight horses. She says that they all entered a strict biosecurity quarantine area upon their return on 3rd March and have remained securely isolated. 

After a PCR test on Monday, Graham found out that six of the eight horses were EHV-1 positive. 

The Australian rider adds that she has notified the FFE, FEI, Equestrian Australia, Sunshine Tour, the owners and clients, the riders in boxes close to her and any surrounding riders that may have had contact with the horses in Spain.
