Both Sanne Thijssen (NED) with Con Quidam RB (Quinar Z) and Sophie Hinners (GER) with Iron Dames Singclair (Singular LS La Silla) provided flawless rides. Janne Friederike Meyer-Zimmerman (GER) came to the start twice with the Belgian-bred Messi van't Ruytershof (Plot Blue) and made only one mistake.
The Mexico Amigos are closely following the Cannes Stars, with a total of 25 points. Mouda Zeyada (EGY) was the standout performer with two flawless rides on If Looks Could Kill O.H. (Q. Breitling LS). Nadja Peter Steiner (SUI) also remained flawless with Jappeloup (Calvaro F.C.). Mike Kawai (JPN) and Saxo de La Cour (Tlaloc M) completed the team and were charged with a fault.
Riesenbeck International is currently in third place in the standings, with 21 points. Their performances in Doha have put them in a good position to challenge the leaders in the upcoming legs. Christian Kukuk (GER) once again proved to be the standout performer with a clear round on Checker 47 (Comme il Faut), and fellow countryman Philipp Schulze Topphoff (GER) kept Carla Nrw (Comme il Faut) flawless. Both German riders had to record a penalty point with their second asset.
The Stockholm Hearts (Malin Baryard-Johnsson, Olivier Perreau, and Antoine Ermann) are chasing in fourth place in the standings, with 19 points, and New York Empire (Denis Lynch and Jodie Hall McAteer) concludes in fifth with 17 points.
