Darragh Kenny triumphant in Queen's Cup Barcelona

The CSI5* 1m50 Queen's Cup in Barcelona fell prey to Irish rider Darragh Kenny and his ten year old Sweet Tricia (Berlin). The combination sped to victory with a beautiful round in 37.11 seconds. 14 combinations qualified for the 'winning round' of the competition.

It was Henrik von Eckermann who came closest to Kenny's time with his Fancy Me (Forsyth FRH) with whom he finished in 39.21 seconds in second place. Luciana Diniz and her trusted Fit For Fun 13 (For Pleasure) then took third place in 39.26 seconds. In fourth place it was Nicolas Delmotte aboard Urvoso du Roch (Nervoso). 

Dutch rider Bart Bles finished in fifth place with another clear round. Yesterday in a similar class he and his Gin D (Clinton I) knocked off the last rail in the second round. Today they finished with a clear round in 40.02 seconds taking fifth place.
