Thursdayevening of week six of the Sunshine Tour in Vejer de La Frontera, Spain, came to an end with a victory for Eiken Sato (JPN) aboard of Melypso Blue PS FRH in the CSI4* 1.50m Celeste Trophy Big Tour, which also counted as a qualifier for the following Grand Prix.
Sato steered his way to a clear round with the 10-year-old gelding by Messenger, finishing in a time of 61,32s. With 61,78s on the clock, Great Britain's Matthew Sampson followed closely on Equine America Ivanhoe GPH (Marome NW) but had to settle for second place. On three was Duarte Seabra (POR) with Hhs Washington (Tinaranas Inspector) with a chrono of 62,26s.
Fourth place was filled in by Pedro Junqueira Muylaert (BRA) and Edora d'Helby (Kouros d'Helby) in front of his compatriot, Felipe Amaral (BRA) with Robinson 163 (Casall).
