The Sunshine Tour concluded with the CSI4* 1.50m Grand Prix qualification, which also counted towards the Longines Ranking. Ellen Whitaker secured the win in this challenging class.
Only eighteen out of nearly seventy combinations managed to complete the course faultlessly. Ellen Whitaker (GBR) triumphed with the 9-year-old KWPN mare Korlenski (Cornet Obolensky). The second place was for Derin Demirsoy (TUR) guiding the BWP gelding O-Kannarock (Rock'n Roll Semilly) faultlessly around the course. Marie Demonte (FRA) rounded out the top three with Epona du Quesnoy (Ogrion des Champs).
Yves Vanderhasselt (BEL) rode the 11-year-old BWP mare Nikita van de Koekelberg and piloted the Loro Piana Filou de Muze daughter flawlessly to the finish line. Their time secured them fifth place. On four was Abdelrahman Ikram (EGY) with Graduate Hbc (Cantos).
