Ingmar de Vos, President of the FEI: "We want to help competitions in trouble"

It is not secret that corona is turning our world upside down and definitely the world of many show organizers. Therefore the FEI want to help those organizers in the best way possible. Shows that are cancelled due to the Corona virus, will not have to pay their calendar rights, the President of the FEI has confirmed.

"The financial impact of the Coronacrisis on the FEI can not me underestimated either. Because of the current situation, we are already 4 to 5 million euro behind. We try to be honest with the organizers as well. Those who had to cancel their show due to the current crisis, will nog have to pay their calendar rights. We decided to let this cost fall for all competitions that need to be cancelled right now. I'm pretty sure that the FEI will have to help in other matters as well, but only time will tell how we're going to do that".
