In the last few months we heard a lot of news about the new Jumping Antwerp. The horse show will no longer be part of the Longines Global Champions Tour. Therefore the Belgium show came up with an entirely new concept the 'JumpingClash Challenge'. The new challenge is a new way to entertain the public with five star riders. But not only did they have to find a new concept, they also moved from their old location to the new one which was desinged by Zaha Hadid. The show will be filled with several 1*, 2* and 5* competitions on a international level. Longines out, Lebeau Courally in The new sponsor of the show is now LeBeau Courally. They sponsor a prize money of more then 650.000 euros and several special edition LeBeau Courally watches. The Belgium watchmaker will design a special edition watch for Jumping Antwerp. They will produce only 25 watches. Earlier we gave you an explanation about the new format of the JumpingClash Challenge. The competition will provide a new and fresh way to introduce showjumping. Belgian's Champions Jérome Guery and Pieter Devos cant't wait to try out this new concept in Belgium. Both riders attended the press conference this afternoon. Guery already tried out the new system of the challenge during Madrids Horseweek. "It's a new and refreshing way of jumping. You can switch youre horses in one show and therefore you can make a strategic plan to eliminate youre oppenent", says Guery. Jumping Antwerp will take place from 19 till 22 april.
