Michel Robert wins MET GP

Constant Van PaesschenIn the Spanish town Olivia it was the French showjumper Michel Robert who rode to victory in the Grand Prix competition. On the back of Nenuphar'Jac (s. Cumano) Robert finished ahead of his fellow countryman Michel Hecart and Quatrin de la Roque. The Irish equiline-sponsored rider, Billy Twomey, showed what he's worth after being a couple of months out of battle. TOgether with Tinka's Serenade he took in the third position. After a fast Jump-Off the Belgian Young Rider Constant Van Paesschen (Sainte Hermelle, s. Surcouf de Revel) made it to the fifth place. He was not even one second faster as the Swedish number one, Rolf-Göran Bengtsson and Carusso La Silla, one of the remaining 'La Silla'-horses still ridden by the toprider.
