At the CDI World Cup the week concluded for the dressage riders in Gothenburg with the Grand Prix Freestyle. It was here Danish rider Cathrine Dufour who devoured the competition by taking over the field with a monster of a score in her new kür. All eyes went to her and her horse Atterupgaards Cassidy (by Caprimond) with whom she was good for the enormous score of 88.200%. With that score she kept way ahead of Germany's dressage queen Isabell Werth. Werth and her twelve year old Emilio (by Ehrenpreis) finished in second place with a score of 85.380%. In third place it was then Swedish rider Patrik Kittel in the saddle of his Delauney OLD (by dr Dolittle) with whom he finished with 83.615%. For Austria it was Belinda Weinbauer who took fourth place with Söhlein Brilliant MJ (by Shakespeare in Love) with 77.275%, followed by a fifth place for Ludovic Henry and his After You (by Abanos) in 73.415%.
